Photographer
I began taking photographs at the age of 36, when life unexpectedly handed me a camera. In 2009, I found an old Praktica 35mm in a gray bag left on a street in London - complete with three lenses. That moment marked the beginning of a new path: photography became a way to explore, observe, and express the invisible: emotions, human stories, and inner landscapes.
Since then, I’ve been using photography not only as a form of artistic expression, but also as a tool for reflection, connection, and healing.
I teach individuals how to confidently use their camera’s manual settings, empowering them to take control of light, composition, and creative expression.
The goal is not just to capture high-quality photographs, but to understand how to see through the lens with intention and curiosity.
Whether you're a beginner or looking to deepen your skills, my courses combine technical guidance with a mindful, artistic approach to image-making.
I conduct therapeutic photography workshops where the camera becomes more than a tool, it becomes a mirror.
In these workshops, photography is used as a form of self-expression, self-observation, and gentle exploration of inner worlds.
Through guided exercises, visual storytelling, and shared reflection, participants are invited to connect with their emotions, personal narratives, and identity in a safe, non-judgmental space.
It’s not about technical perfection, but about seeing - and being seen - with authenticity.
Over the years, some of my projects have naturally evolved into book-worthy works - combining photography and text in meaningful ways.
I’d love to publish them, so I’m currently exploring crowdfunding to bring my self-publishing editorial vision to life, while also seeking publishing houses that might resonate with my work.
La Pecora Edizioni
I co-founded La Pecora Edizioni in 2021 with Francesca Sand,
a small, independent publishing label.
Our first publication, FRAG-MÉNTUM, combines the work of five photographers, creating a collective visual narrative.
