photographs and words

analog photographic and writing-based project

photographs and words is a photographic and writing-based project that explores the relationship between image and language as parallel systems of perception and meaning.

The work moves between documentation and reflection, where each photograph is accompanied by a written fragment.

The project does not separate the visual from the verbal, but allows them to coexist as overlapping and interdependent forms of narration. Rather than illustrating meaning, images and texts function as traces — partial and incomplete records of both inner and external states.

The work engages with themes of identity, transformation, and perception, without resolving them into fixed interpretations. What emerges is a continuous dialogue between presence and language, where neither fully defines or contains the other.
