Puglia landscape

This series is focused on the landscapes of Puglia — a region shaped by light, erosion, and long historical continuity.

Olive groves, dry fields, coastal horizons, and small villages form a visual terrain where nature and memory intersect.

Returning to this landscape after time away introduces a condition of distance within familiarity.

The place remains the same, yet perception shifts.

The photographs move between observation and memory, without attempting to resolve the relationship between them.

What appears is not a representation of homeland, but a shifting encounter with place — unstable, layered, and partially inaccessible. The work traces the tension between belonging and dislocation, where landscape becomes both external space and internal reference.
