Nervegna Art Café is pleased to open its doors to an engaging video-photographic project titled "The Theatre of the Mind," curated by Ilaria Caravaglio and Valeria Gatti and created by the talented artist Loredana Denicola. This captivating exhibition is set to take place in the café's garden, providing an inviting and thought-provoking experience for all attendees.

Project Overview:

"The Theatre of the Mind" is a unique exploration into the intricate facets of the human mind. It is an art project that bridges the personal and the public, encouraging a profound dialogue between the artist and the viewers. Comprising a collection of seven videos and photographs, each video varies in duration from 25 to 50 minutes, resulting in a total runtime of five hours.

Project Themes:

The project delves into themes such as self-discovery, acceptance, and the relationship between individuals and societal norms.

It seeks to challenge preconceived notions and invite viewers to reflect on their perceptions of "normality" and diversity. By addressing topics like gender dysphoria, homosexuality, and transsexuality, the project aims to shed light on issues that are often misunderstood or overlooked.

It also confronts the prejudices and biases that have persisted in society, urging us to embrace differences and foster cooperation and understanding.
