The Individual | Nude Fine Art Print with Foetal Mask | Limited Edition | LD025

€266.00Price

In the realm of consciousness, what does it truly mean to be awake and aware?

The Individual is a thought-provoking photograph that challenges perceptions of consciousness, identity, and reproduction. The subject is wearing a fetal mask, stands confidently with their genitalia exposed, embodying raw vulnerability and defiance.

The fetal form, symbolised by the mask, emerges not from the womb but from the mind, disrupting traditional boundaries between gender and reproduction.

This symbolism reflects the idea that new knowledge and consciousness are universally accessible, transcending conventional gender roles. The new individual portrayed surpasses limitations, ascending to a higher plane characterised by love, compassion, and profound understanding.

A new consciousness arises - recognising its immense potential and striving to foster a healthier, more harmonious society that nurtures peace within oneself, with others, nature, and the planet. This vision, while aspirational, need not remain an unattainable utopia.

    Concept:
The mask worn by the subject represents a foetus, symbolising the birth of new consciousness and identity beyond traditional gender roles. This conceptual piece, created by Loredana Denicola in collaboration with Samuele Sulas, challenges perceptions of reproduction and consciousness by portraying the fetal form growing within the mind rather than the womb. The mask embodies vulnerability, transformation, and the emergence of a higher awareness committed to fostering compassion, understanding, and harmony within society.
